My clubs are one and a half inches longer than standard - two degree upright - Shiff Shafted - Tour Lofts with a Half Chord 3 tape grip.
They have been reshafted about three times and have won many a match - Saying that they did not serve me when we got thrashed in a fourball final 10 and 8 by the club bandit. A match that nearly turned into a fight and saw the end of my playing career.
I started playing golf buying a half set then making it up to a full set from the professionals bargain bucket. I then bought a second hand set of Sam Snead blades - before having a custome built set that were soft and kept losing their loft.
I then moved up to Ping a harder club that does not move.
As a player you must know your clubs and you must have your loft and lies checked pre season.
